Day 23 - Only A Week TO GO!

I can't believe we only have a week left. I really want to bust my butt this week to get some results. Um yeah, healthy eating needs to start tomorrow. (I'm just so bad at that part.)

Today's exercise actually felt pretty good. I thought it was going to be tough, since today was my hot yoga in the AM, but the hot yoga must have primed me, because I did not feel totally lazy and was able to really focus on the exercises today. Challenges were definitely those scissor ab things at the end of circuit one, and those plyo jumps in the cardio part of circuit 3. I think I'm landing too hard on those rockstar jumps because a) I can feel it in my teeth, and b) the floor rattles. (Our poor downstairs neighbors!) High points were the ab workouts generally, where I'm actually feeling my abs working hard, as opposed to levels 1 and 2. Also, I figured out my own little mod instead of the doggy kicks in circuit 3. I did the move from plank today, with no weights, and felt more in my glutes.

  2. On the rock star jumps - how far are you getting yourself off the ground? It sounds like you are emulating Natalie and getting way off the ground, but landing way too hard, you want to be kind to your joints :-)

    If you're following Natalie on those things - WAY TO GO!!! My feet barely make a tiny kick before coming back down with the help of gravity.
