As mentioned in yesterday's post, today begins a series of healthy eating and exercise related obstacles leading up to Christmas. Today Josh and I were driving all over town, meeting family and doing errands. The result? A McDonald's lunch. Now this one is going to go down in the history books as the first time I have ever attempted to eat healthy at McDonalds. I went with a hamburger Happy Meal replacing the fries with apple caramel dippers, with a diet Coke to drink. Calorie total: approx. 300. Fairly high fat and really high sodium. All things considered though, I thought it was a good compromise. I didn't feel gorged, but I did feel very satisfied. It's nice to know that I don't have to sacrifice the foods I love and substitute them all with salad.
Another average workout today. Neither here nor there really. To be honest, I'm a little bored with the regular 30 Day Shred video lately, especially with level 1, which I did last year for several weeks. I'm looking forward to switching things up with the BFBM video tomorrow.
That is awesome that you went the "healthy" route at McD's. Not an easy task when faced with all those choices.
ReplyDeleteI second the getting ready to switch things up, but there will only be a few days of Level 1 left at this point :-)
