Well, today I got plenty of rest. I actually got some sleep, and feel pretty good after yesterday.
I was looking forward to BFBM, and after a Stargate Universe marathon (I had to get caught up on my season 2 episodes), I hopped right in - or at least I thought I would just hop right in.
So, was today better than last Sunday when I first tried this workout? Yes and No. I think it helped that I actually ate something today. When I finally got out of bed I had some soup and then some salad later on in the day. I actually fueled myself in preparation for BFBM.
Yesterday, I didn't really fuel myself, but I still felt really good ... but I think I may be pressing my luck (remember that game show with the whammies) and a whammy would be soon to arrive if I didn't start to pay better attention.
So, onto the workout. I wasn't feeling it today at all ... it took every ounce of my willpower to make it through the end today. Janet, just for you I finished. Better in that it was easier to make it through (endurance wise). No, in that it was harder mentally to make it through. I got through Bob before Jillian, and I was kicked out (literally) by the time I got to Jillian.
Ok, something I failed to really pay attention to last time ... the girl in green gives me the creeps. Stepford anyone? Also, what is with the porn music near the end? I opted to blast Ozzy this time to block out the bow, chicka wow wow.
Looking forward to NMTZ on Tuesday.
I'm glad you made it through. We all have our on days and off days, but we keep plugging along. Keep on truckin. (Of if you're F. Scott Fitzgerald: we beat on, boats against the current.) I've certainly had my share of blah days. You did some amazing mileage yesterday though, so I think you earned yourself a good sleep and a Stargate marathon.
ReplyDeleteHa yes! I was thinking the same thing about the girl in green. Sometimes when she turns her head, she looks like a robot. A totally fit, ass kicking robot.
And the music.... somehow I did not notice it last time. But this time, yea, it's kind of just creeps in there like they layer it in with the previous beats. How insidious.
