Instead of wassailing, we will be walking. Thought I'd add a little Xmas flair in there since it is just a week away (dreadful holiday - far too commercialized for my tastes which is why I haven't celebrated it since the mid-90s). This morning when I got up, I got Bob and Jillian out of the way. Today was tough because they were both sculpting, and I gotta tell ya, my abs were screaming at the end of Jillian today. Bob does a very intensive ab workout on the sculpting day, and my oh my were they raising their sincere displeasure as I finished up the 3d circuit with Jillian.
But, I didn't let that stop me from getting in a long walk today. I got in 10 miles. I was planning on doing 20, but the temperature started dropping too quickly and I wasn't able to keep myself warm enough to make it another trip. I was satisfied with 10. I finished the 10 miles in 2:43. Granted, this is not a spectacular time, but with it being 30 degrees outside, I am fairly proud of getting it done in that amount of time. I did a fairly decent job of keeping my pace, and hopefully that will continue as I add on more miles in the coming weekends on the long days.
I am looking forward to BF tomorrow, it will be nice to change things up.
Are you kidding me? That is a GREAT time and considering the temperature, that time rocks. Good for you for getting out there in that temperature period, let alone for 2 hours 43 minutes. Great work!!
