Well, normally today would be the final hoorah, but that would actually be tomorrow.
I got my workout done very early this morning, aka 6am. I had a friend stay with me last night and she had to leave for the airport at 5:45, and I figured, heck, I'm already up I might as well get this over and done with.
This was after a night of not so great sleep. My stupid CO monitor went off at 2:30 this morning, and it's the second time since I've lived here that it's gone off. The heck of it is, there is NOTHING in my apartment that emits CO, so ha, the joke's on me. I seriously have a faulty monitor - last time it also went off at 2:30 am. I actually went to Home Depot and got another monitor after this happened the first time just to quell my paranoia, and wouldn't ya know it, everything was A-ok. This time, I'm not paranoid, my monitor is just a piece of shit and a PITA. Anyway, I'm still around and feeling great, so CO - ha, tell me another one.
Ok, so after my friend left to head back to the airport, I turned up Jillian ready to conquer. Um, well, I kind of did. With not much sleep under my belt, this morning's workout was harder than I anticipated (between the late night, the CO bit and the 5 am wake I got less than 3 hours of sleep) ... and I don't think I pushed as much as I could have. So, I went and did something a bit nuts, I repeated the torture after getting home from work. I needed a way to relieve my stress from the crap today, and Jillian was my proverbial punching bag.
How do I feel after double-dipping today, um, I'll let you know in the morning. For now, it's another day over and done with and I'm looking forward to my weekend (er should I say I would be looking forward to it if I didn't have to work all weekend).
Lack of sleep can make a huge difference in the workout. Sleep and hydration work wonders. How did it feel after 2x JM yesterday?
