Day 2 - Doing with Intention

I was hoping that after one round of JM30, that the second round would be easy peezy. Unfortunately, I can't report that my hope was reality. The level 1 workout certainly wasn't easy still. It was still very challenging. There were some big differences though:

1. Intention - I could actually workout with intention as Jillian likes to say. Instead of focusing on merely doing the moves and not falling on the floor, I was able to work on form, and make each move count.

2. Lunges - The lunatic lunges must have made a difference, because man, this set of lunges in level 1 felt like heaven in comparison.

3. Abs - The first round of level 1, I barely felt anything in the abs. This time, my abs are fully in motion and really really working.

I also did a 3 mile run on the treadmill today. I'm a bit sore all over from the workout yesterday, but the run felt good. I rediscovered the joys of guilty pleasure music. My song to get my through the last part of the run was Hanging Tough by the New Kids on the Block. My song of the day was Pour Some Sugar on Me. :)

  1. Isn't it nice to see the changes from just 30 days? Although, it definitely hasn't gotten any easier.

    Bow chicka wow wow ... some song I got stuck in my head and I have no clue what it is ... gawd help me.
