Day 12 - Not as Bad the Second Time Around

Last time day 12 rolled around, my title for the post was "Level 2 is nutso." I'm glad to say that I do not feel the same this time around. Challenging, yes, but insane, no. Those double jump ropes I still can't handle, and my push-ups on the walking push-ups are pretty lousy, but some of the moves I've really improved on. For example, the sit-up portion of circuit 3 was completely impossible the first go, and this time, they're completely do-able. The first time, I was literally tipping over. This time, I feel much more in control.

I must say, level 2 is still the one that gets me sweating the most out of all 3 DVDs we're doing and out of all 3 levels on this DVD. By the time I'm done, the sweat is literally pouring off my face.

The biggest challenge for me this week has been the eating. We're in the middle of moving and Josh packed away all the dishes yesterday, so today we ate out at a Greek American joint. It's amazing how after eating healthy for even a few days, your portion expectations change. I looked at the plate and it looked like 4 times what I've been trying to eat lately! And then there is the issue of mystery ingredients. At home, you can cut back on ingredients and know exactly what's in the food. Who the heck knows what went into the 1-pound brick of moussaka?

  1. I'm very glad to hear that you are improving :-) That is awesome that you're doing the walk-outs and actually getting a push-up in at the end ... better than I'm doing.
