Today's workout happened late again, but it certainly is a nice de-stressor for the end of the day. I really knocked out those punches today with some doubles to kick up the cardio, and jumping rope got my calves burning as usual. Stress officially melted into a puddle on the floor.
We're now done Day 8 and there are only 2 days of level 1 left. Jillian Michaels says that the end is where we finish strong, so as we near the end of level 1, I'm thinking about a few goals to help me finish on a high note.
Abs - I am still not feeling much at all on the abs. My goal for the next 2 days is to really give an extra push on the abs section and see if I can get some more burn.
Push-ups - I've gotten to a point where my modified push-ups are not causing any weird strains in my chest. I think I can push a little harder here and hold a little longer as well.
Cardio - where oh where did my cardio go? I need to make more time for this (ahem marathon training). My goal is to walk 6 miles tomorrow, and run 3 to finish off Day 10.
Glad to hear the push-ups are coming along. The 6 mile walk shouldn't be a problem for you at all ... just get on out there and kick it in the ass.
