I'm trying to switch my workouts to before breakfast rather than after work, so I followed up yesterday's Day 1, Level 1, with this morning's Day 2, Level 1. I went to bed feeling pretty good last night. Not sore or tired, but hungry as heck. I woke up this morning with tight calves (those darn jumping jacks) and tight shoulders (push-ups), and not wanting to eat a thing at all. I cranked the tunes up loud and was able to make it through the workout. I had a little harder time with the push-ups today due to soreness. I'm already doing modified push-ups on my knees. I may need to switch to sealion push-ups soon - get whatever part of the top half of your body off the ground that you can. Just your chest? So be it. Hence, sealion.
Lemme tell ya, that last set of bicycle sit-ups feels like the longest minute of your life. I know from my experience with Jillian last time though, that basically a different set of muscles is going to ache through this entire process. Curious, what's it going to be tomorrow?
Cereal with almond milk and these amazing organic honey crisp apples for breakfast. My friend Christina recommended them, and I'm so glad she did. They're amazingly delicious.
Have a great day! Happy Friday!
