No doubt about it. Level 2 is INTENSE. I finished my workout this morning glistening with sweat, jumped in the shower, and was still sweating afterward. Gross! It didn't help that it was 80 degrees out this morning. Hey, I'm not complaining - it's November and I'm not wearing a jacket. But I'm not appreciating the post-workout sweatiness.
What makes level 2 so tough is all the darn plank pose, which turns every move into a strength and cario and ab workout in one. For that final set of oblique twists, I was literally grunting trying to grind out the last few. Oh, and my arms and shoulders are really really feeling it now.
In terms of seeing physical results for me, I don't think this is going to be the week. Tomorrow is a work Thanksgiving potluck, followed by Thanksgiving, and then a family event this weekend. This can all be summed up with one word: butter. I'm going to try to keep things in check, but I think all the eating this week is going to make level 2 that much tougher.
