Day 26 - SPX Workout

I'm with Traci, wasn't this round of exercise supposed to go better than the last? Have we plateaued? My mood hasn't been great lately either and I really feel as though I need a boost in terms of mood and exercise.

For my workout today, I switched things up and took an SPX class. It's like an extreme Pilates class, and as Josh likes to say about JM, it "breaks you off." I bet I'm going to be aching in strange places tomorrow.

  1. Plateaued, yeah, I definitely think I have. I need to switch things up if I'm going to see any progress again. I've gotten too used to the JM moves and my body is no longer "surprised" so there is no progress.

    This round was supposed to go better than the last, but alas that does not seem to be how things are working out. I think I am going to switch things up and start focusing more on conditioning my lower body for M-day. I need to be able to get those miles in within the time limit, and my legs need some assistance. I have a feeling my gym membership is going to finally start to get some use (ah, the dreaded day of going into one of those places).

    SPX sounds like fun - although I wouldn't make it through it. Pilates is total core intensive and we both know my core is like dough (literally).
