Good Colorado Race

Well I found a race in Colorado that had liberal timing and was not one that went through the mountains (a hard feat I am finding).

This one is a bit earlier than anticipated, but it would be good for another half ... and it's at the beginning of May.

I was also looking at Cleveland (yeah, I know) but the run is fairly flat and has an 8 hour limit, which is ideal for me (at least right now).

October runs are still there :-) These are just a little closer - thoughts?

  1. Ok, scratch the Colorado race ... it is capped out on both the half and the full.

  3. There is also the Fargo Marathon in May, I know just the place you wanted to go in May, but it is a flat course and I'm sure we could stay with my pops or my brother (easier to fly into MSP and then drive). Lots of choices ... too many in fact.

  6. Gosh - I feel lost without a goal to work towards. I like the idea of Toronto or Fargo so we can visit family (my grandmother leaves Maine in September usually). I think if we do Fargo, I'd probably do the half marathon just because the timing is kinda close. I do like the idea of a race in a hobunk nowhere town though with a nice pasta dinner at a local church before hand.

  7. I am being very indecisive as per usual, I know..........

  8. Don't worry about the indecisiveness. If we did Fargo, I would also do the half because I don't think there is any way I can finish in seven hours with just two months to get ready.

The Maine one in October looks pretty cool though - nice island race with great scenery and it appears as if it is a fairly fast course with little elevation changes.
